I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
